It's time for the Yarny Ewes Summer Sweater MAL! Carolyn will be knitting the Hedda Top by Katarina Linnhagen in our Tolkien yarn. If you'd like to join in, grab the pattern, choose your size and pick your colorway! (If you don't see a color you'd like, or you want a different base, message us and we'll be happy to do a special order.)

We've done the math and yardage conversions for sizing and posted the info below. **We ask that you double check the math and take into account your knitting gauge.

*Bust Circumference for this pattern is the finished garment circumference with 6.25" positive ease built in; take your bust measurement and add 6.25" to find your size.
Please note: The pattern is not included with the kit, and these are dyed-to-order.
Tolkien:
- 50% Superwash Merino, 50% Cotton
- 4 ply Sock/Fingering
- 436 yards, 100 grams
- 27-32 sts / 4 in
- NS: US 1-3
- Hand dyed using professional grade acid dyes
- For best results, hand wash cold and lay flat to dry.
- As hand-dyed yarn is subject to variation, even with the same dye lot, if using more than one hank in a project, alternate hanks every few rows to compensate for variations in tone and pattern
**Due to the cotton/wool mixture of this fiber blend, all colorways on Tolkien will have a more muted or heathered look to the finished dye job, as the pictures show.
The order deadline to get your yarn by the start of the MAL is Monday, May 20th.
The MAL will be hosted in the Yarny Ewes Facebook Group and will run June 1st - July 13th. The appropriate thread with the MAL graphic and rules will appear in the Yarny Ewes as we approach the start of the MAL. Of course, there WILL be prizes along the way!
